Hello.

I am a primary school teacher and am offering tutoring for the new academic year (I do not work for an agency).

I can tutor any primary (5-11) subject but usually teach Maths and English one-to-one, particularly to children approaching their KS2 SATs. I have been a tutor for several years, having gained 100% on my English A level, and have offered English tutoring to GCSE. I have experience of preparing Year 2, 5 and 6 children for their National and Optional Tests, and I currently teach at a school in Tiverton.
I have an up-to-date enhanced CRB disclosure.

Each session would last for around 1 hour; and I would prepare for each session before teaching your child. The charge, including any preparation, worksheets etc, is £25 per session, with the child coming to me at my home - you are welcome to sit in the lounge/conservatory for a drink while I work with your child!

If I have to travel to your home, there will be a small additional charge for this, depending on where you live (I live in Wellington, so there is the possibility for me to walk to homes within the town; I would not charge for this). I can tutor more than one child at a time (up to a maximum of 4), if they are of the same age, and would charge an additional £10 per extra child.
Example:3 children from 3 families wish to receive tutoring at the same time: first child £25; next two children £10 each. Total cost per session, including preparation and worksheets: £45 plus travel expenses if travelling to your home. This would enable 3 families to share the cost equally while their child still receives differentiated tutoring in a very small group.
