A leading consultancy firm are looking for part-time debt collection advisers to work on a project role, for approximately 4-6 months plus. The role is mainly customer- focused/ individual debt collection, on an outbound calling system and advising on customer arrears and payment plans.

Part-time hours are the following:
Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm (off Sundays)

Role Description:
Making outbound calls from an 'outbound dialler' system- domestic clients only
To process accounts in arrears, identified by reporting in an account work list, ensuring optimum recovery is achieved
Negotiating repayment arrangements and agreeing long term solutions with customers who are in arrears
Processing administration charges to accounts in arrears following the Company's charging procedures
Following collection flow-paths and ensuring appropriate follow up action is taken
Achieving or exceeding target for collection performance, customer service, productivity, service levels and any other qualitative measures introduced by the Team Manager

Person Specification:
Understanding of credit control essential and experience of negotiations and customer-calling in a call centre environment OR accounting department within finance
To achieve individual and team targets, being able to deal with pressure and a busy work environment, as well as maintaining excellent customer care through clear and empathetic client advise
