A commercially astute Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is needed for a leading four star hotel in St Helier, Jersey.
Job Description - F&B manager - Jersey.
Joining a reputable company in one of their flagship hotels, the assistant food and beverage manager will take a pivotal role within the hotels management hierarchy.
Unlike the majority of Jersey hotels, this property faces it busiest season in the autumn and winter due to the popularity of their conference and banqueting department and restaurants, and central location in St Helier.
This is a hands on role, involving both people management, duty manager shifts, and all administrative duties relating to the liquor departments of the hotel.
Required Experience - Food and Beverage background.
This role is suited to a person with passion and drive for the industry and the food and beverage department.
Our client is looking for someone who is happy to commit to the company, be trained and develop their career within the group.
A can-do attitude will get you far! Proven experience within a 4 star hotel food and beverage department at management level is essential.
Excellent commercial understanding from stock taking to Profit and Loss reports essential. Supplier Negotiation skills required.
Salary and Benefits
Salary in the region of 19000.
Low tax Island.
