This is a new role within an exciting and growing SME. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a high profile role involving interaction all across the business at all levels with both financial and non-financial people This is a stand alone role in finance looking after the whole business from invoicing to delivering of information to board.You will responsible for overseeing the transactional part of the business, producing management accounts and statutory reporting. You will produce analysis, budgets, forecasts and be the finance advisory to the board to allow the business to make informed strategic, managerial and operational decisions. You will support the directors with financial control to maximise profitability and provide management information where relevant.

It is essential that you have a strong academic background, that you are ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have experience of working in technical and/or SME manufacturing company.

You will need to show that you have good attention to detail and have had exposure to financial modelling including constructing and maintaining these yourself. You also need to be happy to run all the accounts and undertake the day to day running of the finance function.
