Mary Poppins looking for a new position!

Available to start work as a nanny immedietly, also available for babysitting.

I am a loving, responsible and fun person with 6 years of childcare experience. I have worked as a teacher (early years and primary), babysitter (8 months-14 years), pastoral carer on childrens summer schools, I have run play schemes for holiday clubs and party days and I've cared for children through numerous voluntary positions including work in a nursery (0-4 years), netball coach for a junior team and children's drama club leader.

As you can see I love children! I am not teaching this year- as with most professions, jobs are hard to come by, and as I'm only recently qualified finding work is tricky.
However I'm really excited to have the chance to go into nannying, to play, learn and have fun with children! i'm flexible on whether I take on a temporary or permanent position and I could potentially stay with a family for longer than a year.

I have a full disclosure CRB (police) check (clean of course!), Early Years and youth first aid qualifications and excellent references. I also have experience with children with special educational needs, children on the autistic spectrum and children with behavioural issues. I have worked with children with health issues and physical dissabilities. I have also taught and cared for twins.
I am quite an active person, with lots of energy. I strongly believe in giving children access to a range of activities and experiences so that they are stimulated and happy.

My prefered age range is 0-5 years, although I have the experience with and am happy caring for older children.
