Purpose of the job:

As part of the maintenance team the post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service to a variety of shopping trolleys at retail stores as well as install media graphics throughout their region of responsibility.

Key Tasks/Principal Accountabilities:

1. You will be required to assist in the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by your immediate Regional Manager and the Central Call Centre.

2. You will be required to undertake a comprehensive repair and maintenance service to shopping trolleys at retail stores throughout your region of responsibility.

3. On occasions you may be required to work outside of your region, which may result in an overnight stay.

4. You will be required to analyse, fault find, and carry out repair and service to shopping trolleys in client’s premises in a professional manner and to a high standard in accordance with and in compliance with any associated service level agreement.

5. You will be required to oversee the timely fitting, removal and installation of media trolley handles or floor graphics. You are required to be accessible to your team of fitters at appropriate times for advice and responding to difficulties discovered whilst undertaking their duties. You will be required to ensure that
Your normal hours of work will be up to 48 hours per week.

You will be required to work an alternating shift pattern consisting of:-

Week one = 4 x 12 hour Night shifts (Sunday to Wednesday)
Week 2 = 4 x 12 hour day shifts (Monday to Thursday)

These shift patterns will be worked on a rota basis and on occasions you may be requested to work overtime to meet specific work demands.

Breaks - Daily breaks from work will consist of 60 minutes per working shift and must be taken during the working day and not at the end of the day.

Essential:

 Certified Welder to BS 4872 standard.
 Abrasive Wheels
 Some engineering experience
