THE POSITION
Working from our modern open plan Exeter office your role will be demanding and diverse and encompasses providing specialist recruitment services (Search & Selection, Targeted Candidate Marketing and Contingency) specifically to the Control & Automation Engineering industry by way of introducing Candidates to Clients in various job functions across the UK. These include but are not limited to permanent Sales, Engineering, Managerial and Executive positions.
Key areas of responsibility in order to achieve pre agreed targets include:
· Canvassing niche market employers to establish new contacts and recruitment requirements
· Advising on service levels required by clients in order to provide a professional and tailored service
· Documenting Client details and defining the recruitment brief, organisation culture and business drivers
· Negotiating fees for services provided
· Adopting Search & Selection techniques (dependant on service level agreed)
· Writing copy for vacancy advertising both web-based and journal publications
· Reviewing applicants, managing interviews, facilitating all party communication
· Maintaining candidate and client contact to establish/build rapport
· Database management
· Maintaining personal work statistics for reviewing performance
· Attending weekly training sessions to enhance key skills
THE PERSON
You will be well qualified (preferably to degree level).
As a team player, who is confident with an outgoing personality you will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Due to the nature of the role we expect you to have a provable track record in a proactive sales environment with preference given to those who have worked in Recruitment.

Obviously knowledge of Microsoft Office the Internet and email is a distinct advantage.
