The Royal National Lifeboat Institution are pleased to announce we are offering Golden Bond places for the various Dartmoor Vale Races on 18 October 2009.


Lifeguard Support Team
We are looking for a team of runners to join our Lifeguard Support Team in the three main events and each runner will be challenged to raise money for RNLI Lifeguards. Each event has a different minimum fundraising requirement in order for the runner to take one of the Golden Bond places.

Marathon – minimum sponsorship required £120.00
Half-Marathon – minimum sponsorship required £100.00
10k Road Race – minimum sponsorship required £80.00

In return we will provide you with a full runners support pack, which includes your entry into the race, a RNLI training t-shirt, running vest, and an exclusive kit bag!


Team RNLI
If you have already secured your own place in a Dartmoor Vale event, you can still support the RNLI by raising any amount, large or small, to go towards the lifeguard service in the South West. We will provide you with a Team RNLI runners pack, including a training t shirt, a running vest and a goody bag!

All funds raised through this event will go towards the South West Lifeguard Appeal, where we are aiming to raise £500,000 towards the cost of running the lifeguard service.
