Excellent opportunity working for a secure market leading FMCG manufacturer were you will receive excellent training, a great salary and exposure to high tech kit.

This is a varied role working on a range of manufacturing equipment across the site on a double days shift pattern. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work both alone and in a team in a fast paced environment.

This successful and well renowned FMCG company manufactures for a number of blue chip brands through out the UK and Europe. They have over 15 different sites in the UK and employ 1000's of staff, from administration to engineering. This additional position is created due to growth and future expansion plans.

You will be involved heavily in electrical planned and reactive maintenance across the manufacturing facility with some mechanical task required.

This company has a good team based culture, values their engineers and has good staff retention.

The role:

*Electrical (90%) and mechanical( 10%) maintenance across the site.
* You will also be involved in some installation and commissioning work.
*Lots of PLC work, some programming could be required.

The person required:

* Electrical maintenance background ideally from bakery, food, packaging, FMCG environment.
* 3 phase and PLC fault finding experience is a must.
* Mechanical skills such as pneumatics, drives, and motors are also highly beneficial.
*A formal electrical qualification is needed.

The Package:

*Starting Salary of up to £37,000.
*Overtime available to increase your earnings.
*Company contributory pension.
*25 days Holiday.
