Due to my partner being pregnant having our baby i cannot afford time to make and enjoy the time with my dream bike no more.
This bike has been ridden i would say 5 times in this year when i bought it back in febuary 09. It has had a full service this year too.
This bike was £1700 in 2008. was in sale in 2009 for 1400 in bike shed. i had to buy this bike cos it just stood out to me from the rest not only that ive been a fan of marin for many years .soo about this bike.i can tell you b4 you read any further .This bike will have 2 paint chips HOWEVER only small at back as shown in picture can be sprayed with car spary matalic cover the chip.this is due to lending this bike to a freind and he rid this couple times with freind he fell off the bike not sure the inss and outs.but can tell you apart from cosmetic scratches here there its mint bike. as you can tell by pictures. as for the way rides it is very fast bike steering is very sharp.the brakes are the best brakes ive used. ive read beats xtr. soo many reviews about this bike many very happy. however the 2008 series is the last of marin riftzone since they started in 1995 also might add for thoes who know about bikes.this was designed by john whyte. whos gone on to make his own bikes that go for £2000-£5000 so this design with parts wasnt cheap very well built.this bike will take anything you hit it off road terrain not a issue because of the design this bike will clime anything go over anything .on the flat it is remarkably very fast and sharp.i love this bike will mis it dearly so hope goes to good home.AS FOR PARTS mail me.just with few these major parts alone already goes into the £700 mark if bought seperatly any questions i will try my best to ansew.you .
