Head Chef - £8.00 p/h - Exmouth - Straight Shifts - Contract Catering

Our Client is a professional Contract Catering Company with units all over the UK. They are looking for a Head Chef for their unit north of Salisbury.

YOUR ROLE
As Head Chef you will work 5/7 days catering for large numbers and providing meals 3 times a day. All shifts will be straight and are usually either 0500-1330 or 1100-2000.

The Head Chef will:

- Train and manage the performance of the team ensuring effective at all time
- Manage the day to day operation in line with Client and Company quality and service standards and agreed budget.
- Meet all Client and Company administration and reporting requirements.
- Ensure Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures & standards are in place and followed.
- Build and maintain regular communication links with Client ensuring quality information is exchanged when appropriate.

YOU NEED

The ideal head chef will have experience and knowledge of high volume operations, previous experience of managing a team and contract catering experience is preferred.
City & Guilds or NVQ Chef qualifications are essential and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable

THE REWARD

A great hourly rate, overtime paid for any extra hours over 40 per week. Christmas and New Year off. All straight shifts and excellent career progression in this national company - £8 p/h
