This beautiful apartment is situated on the first floor of a traditional farmhouse, and overlooks lemon, orange and olive groves, and the lovely village of Almanzora, Almeria, Spain.
The village itself offers 5 bars, bakeries, supermarket, tabac shop, pharmacy, medical centre, palace, municipal swimming pool, offering the opportunity to escape from a hectic lifestyle, and just unwind, or if you want party all night. The mountains are on the doorstep and are ideal for walkers, cyclists, artists, bird watchers, families, and just 30 minutes away are the Mediteraean resorts such as Mojacar, Vera Playa, and San Juan de Los Terreros, this truly is the ideal place to de stress from modern living.
Our homely accomodation offers 3 bedrooms, master being en suite, lounge with freeview Sat TV, games, books and DVD, 2nd shower room, and fully equipped kitchen. Guests have use of the utility room, own entrance, and use of the splash pool, garden area and BarBQ. All bed linen and towels are supplied, and a welcome pack can be arranged upon arrival. The accomodation sleeps 5 people.
The village itself is a 10 minute walk from the village of Almanzora, with other villages dotted around all offering bars (at Spanish prices) the same distance away. The larger town of Albox is a further 10 minutes drive, with numerous restaurants, markets and bars. The nearest airport is Almeria 50 minutes drive away, with Alicante, Murcia, and Granada being 2 hours away. To the north is the beautiful turquoise Lake Negratin, with wonderful restaurants to dine in, to complete your day out, just 40 minutes away, and the famous Aljambra Palace a further 40 minutes.
This area is becoming very popular, all of our guests love to come back here, mainly for the relaxation aspect, and the friendliness of the locals, it is so easy to mix in with the the village scene here.
Bikes available free of charge, also friendly dog always up for long walks!
