Support Worker needed for 2-3 night shifts per week in Exeter

I am currently recruiting for a couple of supported housing officers who are able to cover between 2 and 4 night shifts per week at a homeless project in Exeter, housing single females who have been made homeless due to the some of the following reasons:



- Fleeing from domestic violence

- Single Mums

- Made homeless due to rent arrears and lack of funding to live anywhere else

- Among other reasons You will mainly be working from 10pm - 8 am when required. These are not regular shift patterns. For example, some weeks, you could be covering a Thursday and Friday, another week you may be covering Monday, Weds and Thursday etc.



These are waking nights and your main duties are as follows:

To facilitate, enable and support women in the smooth transition from 'homelessness' into a secure and stable lifestyle, sustaining self supported temporary rented accommodation. 

You will be working as part of a team at all times, which provides varying degrees of support and advice to residents where appropriate.  Each team member is expected to assist in the day-to-day running of the project within the guidelines and policies, maintaining cover according to the agreed staff rota, which may be varied from time to time to meet changing circumstances including staff vacancies, sickness, holidays, training etc. Relief Project Workers are required to work day/evening/night shifts and weekends.
