Floating Support Worker needed in Mid Devon

The Supported Housing Division of a large Local Authority in Devon are currently looking to recruit an experienced floating Support Worker for a one-off piece of work that needs to be completed as quickly as possible. You will be completing assessments of vulnerable elderly people with in their own homes. There is 1-2 hours set aside per tenant for each assessment and follow up actions will be required in the office after each client visit.

We are looking for someone that is comfortable working with elderly people and can operate as a lone worker.  In-house training will be provided before the candidate will be allowed to make solo visits, however, strong knowledge of supported housing is essential as you will be loan working. 

The role predominantly requires good communication and admin skills, although sound IT skills are required for follow-up action. 

An enhanced CRB check is required for this post.
