Double room to rent in 6 bedroom character listed farmhouse on private estate of 1500 acres, beautiful countryside, peace and quiet and plenty of outside storage, all only 4 miles from Exeter.
The fully furnished house has a large kitchen with Rayburn and electric cooker, lounge with real fireplace, 2 newly redone bathrooms with bath and shower, and the bedrooms are all good doubles. It is a 16th century Devon longhouse, with thick cob walls, warm in winter and cool in Summer, beams, windows with wonderful views and window seats, a large garden and patio, and several outbuildings.
There are 5 of us, and we are looking for a 6th, we are all easygoing and with varied hobbies, from sculpture to salsa to scuba diving! We have a dog and some chickens at present. We are looking for someone who is planning to make it their home and stay for a reasonable time.
Applicants should have own car, a love and understanding of the countryside, and no smokers please. Rent is £375 per month including bills, and one months deposit.
