Supported Housing Officer in Somerset

A national Mental Health charity are currently recruiting Community Support Workers to work at various projects across Somerset. The Charity was founded over 30 years ago to give a voice to people affected by severe mental illnesses.

The organisation has been through an exciting restructure over the past 12 months, so you will be joining a new team that specialise in offering support to people on a one to one basis, as well as with in small groups to offer "move-on" advice and housing related support. Many of the service users are requiring bridge building support also and will need support with completing welfare and benefit with both completing forms and also with advise. Each service is funded by Supporting people, so a knowledge of SP will be a big advantage.
