Are you a secondary Teacher with a proven background experience of working with students with Emotional and Social behaviour difficulties? Are you looking for a position where you can make a real impact on the development of students with ESBD?



Hays Education are currently looking to recruit a teacher with strong knowledge and skills in ICT, Science and Outdoor Education to work with KS 3 and KS4 students in a PRU setting.



Key responsibilities;



- Provide teaching support in the following areas - science, ICT and outdoor education

- Support students with EBD and/or at risk

- Ensure each students social worker, education personnel and parents, (where appropriate) receive half-termly progress reports.

The successful candidate will have;

- Experience of working with ESBD students in an educational setting

- Good standard in Key Skills of Communication, Application of Number and Information Technology

- Ability to take responsibility for the pastoral care of young people

- Ability to support the learning process of young people

- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm

- Ability to understand the issues facing young people
