Do you have a great idea for fundraising? Could you think of the next 'Big Toddle'? Can you and a group of friends of colleagues give your idea a try, with our support? Then we would love to hear from you!

Barnardo's needs exciting, fun and engaging new fundraising ideas to appeal to everyone and help increase our fundraising at a local level. Your idea will need to inspire people, make them smile and give them an enjoyable experience while raising money for volnerable children. If your idea is a 'winner', you could see it being undertaken by groups of volunteers up and down the UK. You'll need a group of friends or colleagues to help you plan and organise your event or activity, and you'll get support from Barnardo's Communty Fundraising Team to help make your fundraising a success.

Key Activities:

1. To devise and plan a fundraising actibvity, to raise money for Barnardo's

2. To persuade a group of your friends and colleagues to help you give it a try!

3. To share your success by reporting back on what you did, how you did it, and how much you raise, so that others can use your idea to raise more money


Skills/Knowledge:

Imagination, enthusiasm and the determination to make your idea work
Organisation and planning skills to ensure things happen in the right place at the right time
Marketing skills to sell your fundraising idea to people who might take part
