Permanent Accounts Assistant job based on the outskirts of Exeter. My client specialises within the leisure industry and currently has a vacancy for a full time accounts assistant to join their small accounting department. Working along side 2 others you will be reporting into the Finance Director.
Duties Will Include:
·Administration of the Purchase ledger system including matching the Purchase Order to the invoice
·Posting authorised invoices onto Sage through to timely payment of the supplier
·Administration of the Customer Ledger System raising sales invoices promptly and ensuring payment is made
·Administration of the weekly payroll
·Bank reconciliations
·Administration of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Accounting duties for Rental units.
·Ensuring Inland revenue regulations are followed correctly
·Other administration as required by the Finance Director and Accounts Officer
Other duties as required for the operation of the business
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate who has a solid background within Accounts. When applying for this role an Accounting Qualification such as AAT or studying towards such a Qualification would be an advantage.
