A charming primary school in Honiton is now looking for an Art specialist to cover every Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning for the duration of the 08 - 09 academic year. You will be in a Year 5/6 class all year (a yearly commitment is needed) and will have assess to the schools excellent facilities, including interactive whiteboards in every room, staff laptops and access to the huge school grounds.
The school has very supportive and dynamic staff who are always willing to help, this is in line with the school's creative curriculum approach.

You will need to specialise in Art or have an Art related qualification and have a creative, nurturing nature. You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills. Energy, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm are a must!
