Exeter has just been confirmed as one of 25 national venues for Oxfam’s music festival Oxjam later this year. The highly successful festival which launched in 2006 so far hosting more than 36,000 musicians across almost 3,000 events nationwide has yet to confirm which venues in Exeter will be included but are very keen to hear from promoters and bands of all music genres interested in participating.

Oxjam events this year will contribute towards Oxfam’s climate change campaign ‘Here and Now’ raising money to help mitigate the effects of climate change for some of the world’s poorest people and spreading awareness on the immediate human impact that climate change is already having.

Oxjam Exeter are currently accepting applications for the Project Team, specifically looking for volunteers with skills in event planning, media & marketing, community participation and fundraising.
