To support the Deputy Director of Finance in the development and maintenance of the detailed 3 year financial plan by co-ordinating financial modelling and development of a balanced financial plan that delivers the required targets for the directorate. Financial lead in the negotiation of clinical and non-clinical service level agreements between the directorate and other providers (NHS and non NHS bodies) to ensure that value for money is provided and that the Business Plan and all other relevant targets are met. To identify and develop cost saving proposals with directorate managers, ensuring close monitoring of progress towards these targets and using the necessary judgement and skills to review alternative courses of action.

 Assist the Deputy Director of Finance in developing and delivering the Trust's financial strategy.
