Assistant Clubhouse Manager - Exeter - To £18k
An impressive golf, sports and leisure club is looking for a dynamic, hands-on individual to assist with the management of newly refurbished facilities incorporating, bar, dining and functions rooms in a grade 2 listed Georgian mansion.
• Good product awareness and knowledge
• Staff training
• Ensure that service, health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed
• To improve and monitor the product offered to all members and guests
• To maintain effective control of all costs and expenditure and maximise the profitability
• Close supervision of staff.
• To provide accurate information for cash accountability.
• To assist in the management of stock, including ordering, security and stock rotation.
• Fulfil duty manager roles and be a key holder.
This is an operational role, ideally suited to some one with experience running events from weddings to conferences, the ideal candidate will be very customer focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team approach to work and the ability to maintain relationships. You will need to have the ability to work under pressure while keeping a high standard of accuracy.
