musicians needed for improvised jazz

Young poet looking for musicians to perform in a jamming sense along to my poetry at readings around the southwest.
I am looking for a jazz bassist and drummer. And to add a bit of experimentation to the mix, one or more of the following - sax, trumpet, french horn, piano/keys, violin, flute, clarinet, accordian or pedal steel.
The music I would like to accompany my poetry is ideally jazz, but I am hoping to create soemthing a little more interesting than a regular jazz sound.
No songs will be written. The only thing written in stone are my poems. Everything else will be completely jammed and improvised, using the instruments to try and emphasise they rhythm, tempo, mood and imagery of my poetry,
If you are interested you would need to be able to get to Totnes, for each gig there will be at least two jam session in run up so you can get into my vibe and vice versa.
There is no money involved, but I would be willing to buy you a couple of beers at each gig you joined me at.
I am looking for people between the ages of 19 and 26.
