A sixth form college in Devon is looking to recruit an economics teacher as soon as a suitable candidate can be appointed. The successful candidate will hold the necessary teaching qualifications and have experience teaching A’ Level economics.

The position is full time, Monday to Friday to continue until the end of the academic year 2010.

The College was established in 1970 as the first tertiary college in England and the college's curriculum reflects the tertiary nature of the college. The college provides courses in 13 of the 14 areas of learning funded by the Learning and Skills Council. Teaching and learning are good and learners are motivated, attentive, and participate well in lessons which enable them to make good progress and achieve well. The college's mission is 'to inspire the community through successful learning'.
